Darts for Windows 2008 is always under development and new versions are available regulary. If you try to install a newer version on top of an old one, the installer program will complain about "Another version of this product is already installed". You have to uninstall the old version from the control panel and then install the new one, but what happens to the databases and configuration ?
The answer is simple, absolute nothing. All databases and settings are preserved.
